Turfstone

Turfstone

Turfstone is a great option for multi-use areas.

Turfstone is a favorite of landscape architects and engineers. Its filigree design makes it an attractive and permanent solution for emergency access areas, embankments, spillways, and environmentally sensitive parking areas. Turfstone can be filled with grass or aggregates depending on the project’s drainage requirements.

Turfstone is awesome!  These permeable pavers not only look cool, but they help the environment as well.  By using these permeable pavers, you can decrease storm water runoff.  You can help water naturally recharge the water table by allowing it to be slowly absorbed by Mother Earth.  You can also reduce or eliminate retention ponds found in commercial lots. Moreover, Turfstone also can be used for excess green parking areas.  The voids in this paver allow grasses to grow through.  This gives Turfstone a role outside of both traditional paving and permeable paving - GREEN PAVING!

These can make your patio a green space, too.  You can enjoy your outdoor space mud free on your favorite turf.  Maybe plant some thyme in the voids for some added aromatherapy! Maybe mosses are more your speed. Whatever you choose to plant, a living patio space is off the charts cool - figuratively and literally! This green space is especially helpful in sunny areas.
